Atlanta (40 - 41) at Montreal (28 - 52)
Paul Byrd (R) vs. Zach Day (R)

Atlanta have won seven of their last nine overall and are averaging 6.4 runs per game during this stretch.

They have also won nine of the last twelve games in this series and we expect that dominance to continue tonight as they look to get back to .500 for the first time since June 11.

"You've seen a lot of frowns turned upside down in this clubhouse since then," said Mike Hampton, who earned the win Sunday despite allowing four runs in the first three innings. "We've definitely had a lot more enthusiasm in this clubhouse over the past week."

Paul Byrd gets his fourth start of the season tonight as he continues his comeback from Tommy John surgery. The Braves have won two of his three starts in 2004 and he has a solid 2.93 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. Lifetime against the Expos he is 3-3 with a 5.31 ERA.

Zach Day goes for the Expos and he is 5-8 this season with a 3.40 ERA and 1.32 WHIP. He has received very limited run support though with Montreal averaging just 2.6 runs per game when he starts.

Atlanta are 20-13 (+7 units) against NL East opponents while Montreal are just 10-22 (-10.2 units).

Atlanta are 30-25 (+3.1 units) against right-handed starters while Montreal are just 17-38 (-20 units).

Recommended play: Atlanta -115

Good luck
