With Leiter and Wolf on the hill 9 runs seems like too high a total for tonights Mets/Phils matchup but I passed since each team is 8-2 Over L10 and the Phils are 24-15 over at home this year.

Pitt +135 (half)

Been riding the Pirates on and off throughout their win streak and will do so again here. Marlins are only 3-7 in their L10 and while Fogg has not been good, neither has Willis and Dontrelle’s ERA in his L3 is 9.69.

PADRES -120

Beltran was a nice pick up for the Stros but they are only 2 games over .500. Munro is an average pitcher and spot starter and while Valdez has struggled this year he is 4-2 with a 2.70 ERA at home. Pads are without Nevin but they’ve won 4 in a row and I cant pass on the cheap price at home.

TORONTO -120 (double)

Mariners have lost 10 of 13 and were outscored 21-4 in being swept @STL this weekend. M’s are only 13-26 OTR. Batista has the better season and L3 numbers. Hopefully Delgado will be back in the Blue Jays lineup tonight too….Delgado, sidelined since May 29 with a strained rib cage muscle, plans to rejoin the Blue Jays on Tuesday. Delgado homered and doubled twice, driving in four runs in a rehabilitation game Sunday for Triple-A Syracuse. Delgado is batting .447 (21-for-47) with six home runs, five doubles and 11 RBIs lifetime against Jamie Moyer.

BOSTON -130

These teams are very similar in that their excellent at home but weak OTR. Wakefiled has struggled this year but Zito is having his worst season as a pro and sports a very unZitolike 4.41 ERA. Starting pitchers are arguably even here, Sox have the better pen and bats; so while the Bosox are struggling and the A’s arent, I cant pass on only -130 tonight considering the home/away numbers for these teams.

Yankees are overpriced as usual tonight but I’m gonna pass unless I can find +200. Mussina has an ERA of 7.31 in his L3 while Johnson’s L3 numbers are strong.

CHISOX -1.5 +150 (half)

I don’t love the runline here but I like this spot for the White Sox and don’t want to pay -145 or so. Lackey has struggled this year and his ERA on the road is just north of 7. Angels are 3-7 in their L10 and are only 5-10 when Lackey starts. Garcia is 10-2 with a 2.48 ERA in 18 career starts against Anaheim. The 10 wins are his most against any opponent.
