MLB POSTED YTD: 98-71 (+75.95 units)
Seattle Mariners (+108) over Toronto Blue Jays (4 units to win 4.32)
Seattle obviously is having a bad season, but on the bright side they have had success against some of the league's weaker teams. The M's are 9-5 when playing against a team with a losing record.
The Blue Jays have been bad against lefty starters, goin 11-17 against them. Jamie Moyer is the ideal lefty pitcher. He is also 7-3 against the Blue Jays in recent years. In his last start, Moyer threw only 23 pitches at Busch Stadium before the game was interrupted by rain for two hours. He should be fully rested and ready to go this evening.
Detroit Tigers (+190) over New York Yankees (3 units to win 5.7)
I have the ole gut feeling that Mussina gets lit up tonight. The Tigers have been in a bit of a slide, but their offense is still pretty solid, imo.
Jason Johnson doesnt have a good career record against the Yanks, but does hold a 3.23 era against them.
+190 seems like good value to me...
and my favorite chalk of the day:
Chicago White Sox (-145) over Anaheim Angels (4.35 units to win 3)
Good Luck fellas!
