i'll certainly say this again. The A's need to get rid of Barry Zito. He is getting hit more times than a pinata at a mexican kids birthday party. Again, against a playoff caliber opponent, like boston tonight, 4in 9 hits 6 er 3 walks..

It started the end of last season and has carried over here this season.

A commentator on ESPN mentioned that he needs pinpoint control to be effective. Thats a tough way to live.

geez you need pinpoint control.
how dumb is that answer.
of course any good pitcher needs pinpoint control.
keep throwing down the middle and any hitter hits.

pinpoint and changing speeds is what makes a pitcher.
some nights are tougher than others
