Wondering if Pudge is playing today....
another thing, Yanks are 37-14 in their wins as far as covering the RL. 37 of their 51 wins have been by 2 or more. That is sick.

I am taking the Yanks regardless of whether I Rod is in the lineup. Bonderman should be smacked around.

Couldn't pull the trigger on the Yanks. The lineups scared me away (especially with Flaherty and Enrique Wilson).

Yanks only have one player hitting over .276 (Sheffield, .297). I know this stat is a bit misleading (for example, Jeter has been hitting well), but still...guys like Lofton/Giambi/Bernie are obviously washed up.

Meanwhile, Detroit has FOUR guys @ .325 or better.

Yanks are reminding me of the Lakers this year. You look @ their players, you look @ their stars...they should easily win, right? But something just aint right.

As for pitching, is there really any difference between Bonderman and Halsey? I don't trust either of them.

And now Ivan Rodrigues of Detroit gets thown out for arguing balls & strikes in the first inning. Our overs isn't looking too good.

3-0 Tigers but Sanchez is out for the game. He might have pulled a hammy while lunging for 1B.

Interesting, Sanchez is staying in the game. He looked like he pulled a hammy from what I saw. I wonder if that will come into play when fielding balls in the outfield.

4-3 Tigers

Sheffield sacrifice fly even though by the sound of the bat, it sounded like a hr & was just short of being one.

4-3 end of 3

AROD a long flyball popup. The ball isn't carrying as the last 2 outs sounded & looked like HR's from initial contact.

Sanchez has been pinch hit for so he is gone. I'm not surprised.
