Right now I'm not real wild about the Reds on the road. Of course I'm not real wild about the Reds in general -- they are the #2 moneymaker in MLB and they lose practically every time I play them. I'm down six units on the Reds in the last month.

It looks like a lot, but all it really is is a two-unit play on the RL hedged with some smaller bets "just in case." Aside from the Bosox, the Yankees are the letdown kings this year, and Detroit has been full of suprises.

Overall I am a little queasy about having this much money on the table in a single day, but I have found that second-guessing my plays tends to cost me more than letting them play out.

Detroit gets me off to a good start, 3-0 +4.895 units.

Just, um, nine more plays to go and 3.965 more units to break-even.

BTW, I made an enormous error in math earlier. I did not have 38% of my bankroll on the line today -- I had just over 12% at risk. I realised the mistake after I looked back at the calculations, thinking that that couldn't possibly be right.

Anyway. Off to a nice start.

I think your success would increase if you listed your results down to the fifth decimal point instead of just three.

We're just punked because we slept in this morning and missed getting a Unit on the Tigers ourselves.

And oh what a day. A truly suprising 8-4 day for over ten units profit brings me to 41-36 +22.988 units on the season.
