so let me get this straight. You are going to tie up over $4500 for the entire season? Are you sure you didn't forget the decimal point and you tied up $45.00????

What is wrong with tying up thousands in futures. I for one, have had phenomenal succcess the past few years.

Obviously you are not going to hit on every play, but making 60-100% profit on an investment in 6 months is pretty awesome.

It also sometimes saves the effort of making a daily wager with a rooting interest in a given team.

I personally have had Marlins, Angels at 100-1 the past 2 years. The Panthers at 50-1 (NFC), Patriots and Ravens the past few years at 60 & 80-1 for the Superbowl. Devils at 15-1, well you get the point.

To name all the totals I have played has created such a nice bankroll that it is not only found money but a chance to even hedge the longshot futures that I may take a shot on.

I have posted my NBA, NFL futures here before and The General can attest to my success history.

Dont understand why someone that invests is not willing to risk a decent profit on your money over a relatively short period of time.

My Opinion.

Good Luck to all.

Good luck on that White Sox-Cubs bet, you'll need it (my first chance to talk smack about Cubs-Sox).

Do have Anaheim at 18:1, ChiSox 25:1, and Cubs 7.5:1. Much better.

Futures are great win/lose.The bettor has the advantage. What's 4 or 6 months of tying up money for a winner.I wish I would have bet 10,000 on OVER Cardinals 85 and LESS on UNDER SF 84.I played the Cardinals +4.25 to win the division at the end of may for 350.00 dollars. Its 350.00 less a blow on a week nite game.I already tied up 3,900 to make 3,000 to go OVER 7.5 with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

All I know is MGM in Vegas doesn't take action on total # of wins in baseball. How many times can they pay out 9,500 when you put up 4,750.In 1999 a group of 7 guys and myself we hit 5 winners and they paid us 45,000.We had different people and women to get the cash.Screw them no IRS and BAD NUMBERS lose!
