for what it's worth...

"Rogers suffered his first loss in almost two months on July 10th after allowing eight earned runs and three home runs in only 1 2/3 innings of work against the Red Sox. The veteran southpaw had won three straight starts prior to that defeat, which raised his ERA from 3.65 to 4.21.

Rogers was set to start earlier in the week, but was given two extra days rest for his strained hamstring."

I wouldn't go too heavy on this game either way. Is Rogers rested and ready to throw 7+ innings? or is his age catching up with little nagging injuries ? If anyone knows the answer ...post it

Great question SoCal - that's my concern today.....how will he pitch coming back from that injury?

Though it seems that pitchers off the DL list this year have been pitching some pretty great games.......maybe as they rest those injuries the arms also rest up (not unlike the All-star break and all the low scores (great pitching) that we have been seeing the last few days....hmmmm)

Saying that - I know truelyhandicapping is on Texas tonight BIG. And if memory serves, he stated he was once a pitcher (and it gave him some great insight into the All-Star break props.....

Best of luck in all your wagers tonight -
