So far the starters that pitched in All-star game have been losing their next start. Vazquez, Lilly, Johnson, Pavano, Glavine, and Sheets have all lost ( at least their teams), the only winner has been Sabathia ( barely).
Clemens goes today, as well as Mulder and Loaiza ( but against each other), only one left is Carlos Zambrano ( I believe ).Prices should have been pretty good going against these guys.
I'm not trying to make too much of this small sample. Maybe throwing that inning or two messes them up ? Maybe next game catches them distracted, a let down ? I don't think it's rest, or a lack of rest. Maybe it's worth looking at next year, or back testing it for 10 years +. I'm not going to spend the time researching it. I'd like to hear if anyone has, though ! It is interesting though.
