Pretty nice run (6 of 7), but still a down year overall.

YTD 23-36 (-8.05)

Arizona +135 (Lima, Dessens)

We know the D' Backs are bad. But I actually think there's a bit of value here. At home vs. righties they're playing .500 ball. The Dodgers are 15-14 away vs. righties.

Dessens has a 3.13 home ERA, with one HR allowed in 31+ IP. Lima has a 5.63 road ERA with more walks allowed than K's. As bad as Zona has been, four game sweeps on the road are tough to pull off, and with Lima on the mound, it'll be even tougher.

i live here in Arizona and trust me DON'T put your money on this team the rest of teh season!!.If anything bet against them a ton and you will cash!. They are the worst team in baseball and have given up in a big way.

Yeah, you're probably right. But they have been ravaged by injuries and got hosed (so far) on the Sexson trade. I'll wait until they get healthy and see what they get for Randy before passing judgement.

Tonight didn't help my opinion though. Dessens brought nothing to the table, while Lima pitched badly and still managed to stifle the lackluster D-Backs bats for eight innings.

there is no getting healthy for this team! trust me.It is going to be an ugly 2nd half of the season!. It may take a few years to get back to winning baseball for the D-Backs.The way to make your money is to bet against them as much as possible starting with a pissed off San Fran team coming in here on Monday after they blew a 3 run lead in the 9th to CO!!.

PP.com is right.
Don't throw your money away on this awful
D-backs team this season.
I'd stay away from betting Montreal as well.
If you feel the need to bet on teams with "value",
stick to the Pirates and the Brewers.
