Chavez followed with a grounder back to Perisho, whose throw home was in time to force Juan Rivera. But Matt Treanor took his foot off the plate before he caught the ball and plate umpire Bill Welke called Rivera safe. the catcher was charged with an error.
Carroll followed with an RBI grounder, beating the relay to avoided what would have been an inning-ending double play.
I would have won $5020.02 on the parlay....I had a 3 teamer with White Sox to Win (they even come through for me, Under on the Braves (they just squeak by), and the under on the F#@#$ING MARLINS!!!!!!!!! I had under 7 1/2....The 8 earlier in the day would have pushed me...
But I can't complain too much because I won my $3000.00+ parlay (3 teamer) with the Red Sox coming through for me....
