The Phillies kept pace with the Braves on Sunday remaining a ½ game back in the East while the Marlins went 3-7 on their road trip following the break and saw those 2 teams extend their lead to 4 ½ games. Florida has also lost 9 of their last 15 at Pro Player.

The Marlins haven’t given any help whatsoever to AJ Burnett posting a 1-9 record with the right-hander. Burnett is 0-5 with a 5.02 ERA at night and is also 1-4 L/T.

Philly has won 6 of their last 10 overall and while the rumors were swirling around Kevin Millwood a few weeks ago as far as a move was concerned, they probably aren’t entertaining those thoughts any longer after winning his last 6 starts.

They are 10-4 with the right-hander at night as Millwood has won his last 2 starts going 14 combined innings and allowing only 2 runs.
