We are also in Florida (Clearwater) and are methodically grinding away as posted in our own daily thread.
We're up just over 50 units for MLB this year and are targeting 120....
Like your ratios desribed above, our more modestly endowed Unit Size is usually about 2% of bank, and thus we seek to 'double' our bank in next ten weeks.
Oh, we are also doing some depositing of fresh funds every couple weeks to help boost the base Unit.

The fresh funds are an investment, not chasing.
Current bank of about $600 allows for a base unit of $12...by adding another $900 over next five weeks, I can safely raise my base unit to $25-30.
Oh, the current 600 has been built from $200 since early June.
We're setting up for NHL season. We want to enter that with $2500+ of which about $1200 will be deposit money and the other half will be return on investment.

We are looking at next two weeks and planning to fade Red Sox, due to their likely being Even or road faves at Minn and TB, then big faves upon return home, especially vs TB and especially especially if Tampa wins at least two here at the Trop.
Also think those same Rays have one more burst remaining....It started with the 3game sweep o' the hapless Royals and hopefully continues versus almost-hapless Jays, Red Sox (2of3), and then hapless Seamen.
This would set up a nice series at Fenway second week of August with a slumping Sox, a streaking Rays and very Plus numbers for the latter.
