Any info on this?

Just saw the article at CBS. Wow, LA gets Penny and imagine if they deal for Johnson as well. My giants might be finished.

Yes that deal is done.

Penny and Choi to LA
LoDuca, Mota and Encarnacion to FLA

Penny is a solid pitcher (and might be used as trade-bait for Randy Johnson). And the Dodgers supposedly think Choi has potential for more homers.

LoDuca is a nice hitter, but he didn't provide much power. Encarnacion is talented, but he wasn't producing in LA.

This might be a trade that helps both teams.

Dodgers deserved their loss Saturday. Instead of Mota pitching the 8th they now have Darren Dreifort(atleast until he gets hurt)

To trade the games best setup man and a team leader like Loduca when you are 18 games over .500 makes no sense.

Concur, last nights game was huge, a 2 game swing, Gagne should have come in the game in the eighth, today is a must for LA.
