This line is awefully low even considering its Mr. lowe on the mound...

I'm kind of trying to convince myself to take the sox since wouldnt be that bad of a chalk hit if it were to lose at -117.

I'd like to think he's turned things around because he hasnt had a loss in 3 outings and he's only allowed 4, 2, and 4 runs respectively in those 3 (have I "sunk" to a new "low"e or what)

I guess I'll just watch the game - although they havent seen him this year, overall the sox havent fared too well against maroth in the past (only manny and varitek have decent averages [they are both 6 for 10 against him] Damon is 0-7 with a k, kapler 0-6, and mueller 3 for 7 (not bad though))...

Anyone have any ideas as to whether or not the coaching farce from the other day will motivate or hurt the players motivation?

One more note - the tigers have lost 4 straight - hmmm

lowe with two gold glovers behind him will be like having a whole new pitcher. cabrera/minky is a much more formidable combo to handle derek's groundouts than garciaparra and ortiz. comerica is also a pitchers park. lowe is also 4-0 lifetime vs tigers and maroth is 0-4 lifetime vs. sox. like it myself JAY, lot of good looking things here. not 100%, but leaning this way. its sox or pass for me.

We agree an improved D will assist Lowe. And combined with the Bostons significant offensive dropoff Away vs LHSP, we see the UNDAH 9.5 (-125) as tonite's best bet in the Metrodome.
