Explanations:

*The Dodgers have lost 4 straight against the Phills this year with last nights defeat. The Phillies are playing excellent ball right now, BUT LA should stop the bleeding tonight as Philly sends Abbott to the hill. In his last four starts he has 18.3IP/17 ER/25 hits given up. Batters are hitting .310 against him on the road and the Phills overall are 2-8 on the road overall when he takes the hill. Not good facing a VERY good hitting Dodger team at home!*

*The Cardinals are just flat out AWSOME and got even better with Walker coming aboard. The Mets are a so-so team this year especially on the road. They play horrible defense and that plays right into the hands of the Cards. The Cards are 4-0 in William's L/4 starts. The Cardinals again should have too much offense for the Mets today.*

*I love the Twins at home today with Santana on the hill. This guy has been lights out recently giving up only 4 ER in his last 29 IP!!!! A better stat to that is he's only given up 8 hits in that span!! That's AWSOME!! Hitters are hitting just .200 against him at home and the Twins are 4-0 L/4 overall when he takes the mound. Should be a good close game again, but Twinkies get this one and even the series!*

*Basically going with the hotter pitcher here with the D'Rays and Hendrickson today. Mariners are just playing the season out, but I feel the D'Rays are still playing hard for Lou. In Hendrickson's last 29.2 innings pitched he's given up only 8 ER! That's pretty good.*

*Laying the chalk with Pedro today!! He has excellent career numbers against the Tigers and Bonderman does not fair well against the Sox. Too much offense and too much Pedro for the Tigers today as the Red Sox love hitting against righties way better and post a .358 OBP!!*

*Again, basically going with a HOT pitcher in Colon today! His last 26 IP he's given up only 4 ER!! The Angels are 4-0 L/4 when he takes the mound and the Royals are just flat out terrible this year and playing for nothing. Angels need wins. If Colon can keep his walks down he should deal today!*

*Really like the way Cook has pitched for the Rockies lately as his last 30.2 IP he's given up only 7 ER!! Reds are 0-4 overall in Wilson's L/4 starts and have been playing like crap since the break. I think that Giants series was a fluke as I believe the G-men were looking ahead to the Cubs series. Both teams should put up some runs today as the Rockies usually light up righties at home. Hitters are hitting .304 against Wilson on the road.*

*Who is this guy pitching for the D'Backs today? His stats are out of control! 16.2IP/25 ER/33H given up!!! I would side with the Braves, but get a funny feeling for some reason, so I'll stick with the OVER, but if the Braves lose to this guy something is wrong. The offense should be there today!*

*I really like the way Lilly has been pitching as of late. His last 25.2 IP he's given up only 5 ER and only 12 hits!! Hitters are hitting just .210 off him on the road. I'll take this as my only DOG play today with the hotter pitcher. Hernandez does not have good career numbers against the Jays. Good shot at an upset here.*

Adding one more I can't pass up:

1* Indians/W.Sox OVER 8.5 -110

*I feel the offenses will show up today! Lee for the Tribe just has awful numbers recently. 14.3IP/18ER/27H given up, BUT he was on the mound in the 14-0 rout the W.Sox had over the Tribe a few weeks back. As stated yesterday, the Tribe got shut out TWICE at home in that series and are looking for revenge in this series this weekend, so that's the only reason I will not play the White Sox. They took game 1 yesterday. Lee will pitch better, but both teams will score enough runs to go OVER the small number today. The OVER is the way to go!*

Pretty good day so far, but hoping the Dodger blue can get the win tonight to make it a really nice profit day....0-0 in the 4th right now. I should of really known better and took the Braves today...I just knew they wouldn't lose to that awful pitcher, but didn't pull the trigger. My system actually had the Braves as a play, but I went with the OVER instead!! Damn!! ATL was easy money today!! I will know better in the future....C'mon Dodger blue!!!
