Coming off a pretty much break even day yesterday going 5-5 +0.23 units, but did hit another 2* play on the Giants! Slowly getting back on track....

Record second half: 38-35 -19.26 units
(Last 3 days: 19-11 +8.95 units)

2* Indians -118 (Westbrook only)

*The Tribe continue to play good ball lately despite losing a tough game on Sunday. They have an overall better record than the White Sox and are still very much in the division race. The Sox have just gone downhill recently going 2-10 L/12 games and with no Frank and no Magglio things just get worse. I still feel the Tribe will not be satisfied going away with a split in this series after getting shut out TWICE at home by the Sox a few weeks back. Winning this game and pounding on a struggling team will be a statement. The Indians are 4-0 L/4 when Westbrook takes the hill and have a .352 OBP against righties. They also hit .288 on the road as team. That doesn't spell good news for scheduled starter Diaz for the Sox. 16.1IP/15ER/26H L/4 games for him. Westbrook's last outing in Chicago he pitched 6 innings and gave up 0ER, but got the loss. Different story this time around.*

1* Red Sox -280 (Halama/Schilling)

*This would be another 2* play, but the chalk is a bit too much to risk and I don't feel comfortable with the runline for some reason. The D'Rays are 1-9 L/10 road games and the R.Sox are 33-18 at home. They just got done taking 2/3 at Tampa and can't even afford to lose games like these in the middle of a wild card race. Halama hasn't exactly been pitching well and the D'Rays are just a different road team having just a .304 OBP against righties while the R.Sox have a .369 OBP at home (.338 vs.Lefties)!! They love playing at Fenway especially against inferior teams...too much Schilling and R.Sox today for Tampa.*

1* Rangers +118 (Bacsik/Borkowski)

*This is a play strictly on the pitcher for Texas today. I was very impressed with his only outing he's pitched 7IP/0ER/4H at Detroit recently. I like the road toughness he showed and feel the momentum with him on the mound will carry over and the Rangers will play well again with him out there. Texas is still very much in the playoff hunt and the Orioles are not. Borkowski has been impressive at home, but don't think he's THAT good. He's coming off an outing where he got peppered around a little giving up 10H in 5.2IP. Rangers get a much needed win and avoid the sweep!*
