More good news is that despite the fact that Eric Milton brings his hefty ERA to Citizens tonight his team is supporting him. Philly is 17-6 with Milton including a 10-1 record at home. Philly is already missing a pair of starting pitchers as well as a couple of key relievers and OF David Bell. They may also be without 3B David Bell who left Sunday’s game in LA with back spasms.
The Rockies have lost 4 of their last 6 games. They are also 11-36 the last 3 years on the road after 2 straight games where they committed no errors. They’ve lost 2 straight with Jamey Wright who is 2-5 with a 7.95 ERA L/T.
