Hit a nice 3* play yesterday on the Yanks, BUT had an overall slight losing day net wise because of the small plays. Lately my small plays have been really hurting me as my Top Plays have been doing pretty well, so really trying to keep it simple with playing just my strongest plays...I'm rarely going to be posting 1* plays anymore unless it's something I definetly can't pass on...last few days have been tough as I've come within a game or so of having a winning profit day, but just can't get over the hump...

3* Cardinals -110 (Williams/Byrd)
*Really like this play as the Cards are an amazing 10-0 overall in Woody's L/10 starts!! Williams has been pitching very good ball lately and giving his team the chance to win 26IP/7ER/17H L/4 four outings! The Cards got swept at ATL LY and I see them definetly turning that stat around starting tonight! They are WAY WAY better than LY as we all know. Byrd's no push over for ATL, but my money is on STL today!*
2* Phillies -155 (Hennessy/Myers)
*This road trip for the Giants really didn't start out as expected by me...they did play pretty good ball against PITT, but the thing that let them down in those losses was that horrendous BULLPEN!! I really like the way Myers has been pitching for Philly lately 26IP/7ER/18H L/4 outings!! Both teams are coming off losing series, but the Phillies have been playing more consistant baseball going 6-4 L/10 while SF is 4-6 L/10 overall. Going with the better pitcher, hotter team, and looking for the Giants road woes to continue in Philly...atleast in this game. I am aware of Myers' career stats against SF, but like him in this spot at home!*
2* D'Rays/Rangers OVER 10.5 -105
*I feel this game will have some runs put up on the board tonight! I know Bell for TB has been pitching pretty well recently, but Rogers on the other hand has not 21.4IP/15ER/31H L/4 outings with a 6.48 ERA! D'Rays have a nice .352 OBP against lefties this year and TX hits .290 as a team at home. D'Rays should get to Rogers and I don't see at all Bell shutting down the TX lineup...I see enough runs to go OVER the total.*
1* Dodgers +110 (Perez/Maddux)
*Well, this one I couldn't pass up! I very much like the way LA has been playing lately as they nearly almost swept Cincy, but let one get away from them. Cubs have just been very inconsistant and the Dodgers already took 2/3 from them at home this YR. Perez has been pitching pretty well lately 24.1IP/8ER L/4 outings and has overall 2.66 ERA on the road! He also won at Wrigley LY in a 10-5 LA victory! I really like the UNDER in this game as well, but trying not to push too many plays. Need to start winning consistantly before that happens.*
