Cardinals-Braves
ST. LOUIS: RHP Dan Haren was confirmed as Sunday night's starter by manager Tony La Russa. RHP Chris Carpenter, who has lower back stiffness, will be skipped in the rotation. Haren will make his second start of the season after allowing 10 runs and 10 hits in only 3 2-3 innings on June 10 at Chicago. Carpenter lasted only 2 1-3 innings in his last start. ... OF Reggie Sanders made only his second start since he was hit by a pitch on his left elbow last Sunday. ... Albert Pujols had his fourth multihomer game of the season Saturday. ... The Cardinals lost for just the third time in their past 13 road games.

ATLANTA: With the team playing a day game following a night game, 2B Marcus Giles received a day off. Giles missed 52 games with a fractured right clavicle before he was activated on July 15 and is the reluctant recipient of an occasional day off. Nick Green started for Giles. ... With two homers Saturday, Chipper Jones had his first multihomer game since July 7, 2003. It was the 29th multihomer game of his career. ... Braves pinch hitters are batting .277 after going 3-for-4 with three RBIs Saturday.

I've been chalking it up more than I'd prefer lately but until I get burned I'm gonna take another couple of stabs at it.

Braves -137 (pinny) [haren must start]
With Giles back tonight and the team facing a very much untested starter in Haren the Braves chalk looks lower than I expected.

Forgot to add my arroyo fade:

Chisox +140

Buehrle has a decent record against the sox (hasnt lost - 2.08 ERA in 5 games) and although he hasnt faced them this year he should be in good shape going against arroyo and a lineup without Bill Mueller (gutierrez will start at 2nd). I think the story of this game will be Buehrle vs Manny/Ortiz - if Buehrle can get by these guys each time though the lineup then the chisox have a great chance to compete here.

Lowe priced at almost -200 at pinny for tomorrow

I may need to get a fade on this one early - that blister is due to have an impact on him...
