I continue to do much better on totals, which doesn't surprise me. I have many more indicators for totals, and I'm much more confident in these plays, but I'm still very frustrated with my poor record on sides. One big reason is that I've played several big dogs that have just missed winning.
Anyway, on to tomorrows plays...
Det +131 over ChWS (IIS) (risk 2 units) - Wilfredo Ledezma's return to the pitching staff has gone quite well for the Tigers so far this year, as he has given up only 6 total runs in his 6 outings (3 starts, 3 relief). Jon Garland's year has been unspectacular, so I'd have to give a definate edge to the Tigers here. The Sox have a definite edge in the pen, but the Tigers actually have the better lineup, at least when facing the type of pitcher (right/left) they are due to face tomorrow. With Terry Craft calling strikes, this is a big boost for the Tigers. Craft has earned $100/game bettors $2700 over the past 8 seasons by putting money on the road team. With the better pitcher, the better lineup, a friendly ump, and a line of +131, I see plenty of value in this pick.
I got a couple more, but I'm hoping to get a better line, so I'm holding off for now.
