LA is a team that finds ways to win and I like them at home where they are 38 – 24 ytd at this price with Weaver on the hill. Atlanta is tough, but Weaver is on a roll with a .77 WHIP to Hapton’s 1.96 for their last three outings. This is the sixth game of Atlanta’s road trip, last night went into extra innings, should be a good spot for LA.

Cubs have won 3 straight and I know Prior hasn’t been special this year but I still like the chances that he throws a gem over Backe who hasn’t started a game in the bigs and has given up four jacks in 22 innings of work (1.63 per 9). Cubs are on a roll winning 9-2 last night hitting six bombs. Houston is 29-32 at home, 6+ games back in the wild card and this 26 year old is getting his first start. Decent spot for the cubbies (33-30 on the road) with a better pitcher on the hill and some momentum.
