Winner yesterday with the Red Sox!! Today's a special day as I have two plays I am playing...normally I have just one, but I've looked at these two plays over and over and really can't pass either of them up. Here's to a lucky Sunday hoping to go 2-0!!

Record second half: 54-58 -35.49 units

2* Marlins -122 (Pavano only)

*Going with the road warrior Pavano here! This guy has been flat out been awsome on the road going 8-1 with a 3.24ERA this year! He is 6-0 his L/8 starts on the RD with two ND and is pitching very well right now 30.2IP/9ER L/4 starts! The Marlins are also 17-6 overall when he takes the hill this season telling me he gives his team a chance to win and the players step up for him almost every time he goes out. FLA is going for the series win in this game to complete a very successful road trip in which they've won the previous two series already. The only downfall is Pavano's career numbers against SD which aren't good, but I feel this guy is having a breakout season and is MUCH better than he was when he got those numbers in previous years. Hitchcock going for SD today hasn't tasted a win yet this year going 0-2 with a 6.23ERA and he is very open for giving up the long ball in his starts this year. I lost with FLA on Friday, so bouncing right back with them here to get the series win!*

2* A's -120 (Redman only)

*Going with the RED HOT A's today! After starting the year having problems on the road this team all of sudden loves to play away from home winning their L/7 road games! They go for the series sweep today and a road trip sweep as well if they can get this victory today. Redman has pitched solid lately 26.1IP/8ER L/4 starts and has an overall 3.04 ERA on the RD. He also sports a 3-0 career record against these D'Rays.
The reason this line is so low is because of the respect the bookmakers are giving TB's pitcher Brazelton. No excuses...he's been awsome at home this year, BUT I can't pass up that the D'Rays have lost 10/11 games! That's just flat out terrible and the lone victory came when Brazelton was on the hill. I just can't see this guy being the band aid for this team EVERY time and feel that stops today as the A's will get to him somehow. He's also shown having control problems all year with his walks. I very much like the A's today with the tremendous momentum they have going...I feel that will overcome Brazelton's great home success.*

I really like your write-ups. You've convinced me to take a second look at Florida.

As far as Oakland is concerned, I was burned by them a couple times in earlier weeks but they have come around. In addition to Redman's record they have won 6 out of their last 7 while TB has lost 9 out of their last 10.
