Sosa has simply been god awful as a starter for the Devil Rays especially on the road.With a road ERA of 8.31. The most telling stat is his inability to keep runners off the bases. His last two outings have seen him give up 9 walks and 12 hits in just 12 innings of work. If you cant keep them off the bases you cant keep them from scoring.
Look for Villone to handle the slumping Devil Rays again as he posted a nice effort on 8/7 when he went six innings in a 5-2 road win over this DRay club.
