and yes...very overrated.

take another right fielder...say vladimir guerrero. vlady is 3 times the player sosa is.

I like Sosa personality wise but his skills have gone to sh*t. I bet Oswald gets more hits today than he does.

you're right...what was i thinking!

the best was after he got caught corking his bat, he blames the media. the league cracks down and starts testing for steroids and sosa's numbers go to sh*t...coincidence? God only knows how many homeruns he hit illegally.

he will be in the hall of fame someday though...a much, much better player and citizen than pete rose.
