I know everyone scoffs at the word " Lock ", so I love to use it. I like the Angels today over the Twins. Reason ? Silva is a very good pitcher for Twins but He has already pitched 161 innings which is twice as many innings as He has ever pitched before ! BA against him this year is .318 and his era on the road is 5.22 and his era since the all star break is 5.14. Kinda scary stats pitching against the powerful and hot Angel bats.Escobar for Angels has a era in 4 games in August of 2.81 On paper this looks good for Angels !
I in no way want to brag as almost every reason I gave for calling this a " Lock " didn't happen ! However that is why I like all the stats to be in my favor and only one of my stats cvame true and I still won. Escobar pitched a great game and that turned out to be enough to cash the ticket. In baseball, I am very selective. Good luck to everyone !
