took monday off

don't ask me why i am still playing bases with college football starting. another 0-3 on sunday, took monday off. 2-10 last 12. will try three more today. as soon as i am in danger of being in the minus for the year i will be quitting. no point in having a losing season in bases after the entire year. just not meant to be in bases for me this year. when it looks like i am going to get on a roll i lose. when i hit a losing streak and get frustrated and ready to quit, i turn around and win a few. at least i can say i did not have a losing season. all plays for one unit today.

phillies -107 over atlanta.............lets see if the phillies have any pride left. i know i have been fading the phillies, but i have also gone with milton just about every start he has made. he has had alot of tuff luck no decisions lately. would like to see him win a few of those.

pittsburgh +130 over milwuakee..............brewers just plain suck lately.

cincinnati +103 over houston...............just a gut feeling here, taking the home doggie.


good luck! back on wednesday unless i go 0-3 again at which point i will be finished with bases for the year. lets hope i come back on wednesday.

I'll tell you why - I dont need to ask

The depth of information in baseball is much more stimulating to the mind than the more simple X's and O's of football.

Baseball has starters, relievers, pinch hitters, backup catchers, knuckleballers, "player's coaches", hitting streaks, and many other things that football doesnt have - and when you go all season long you gain knowledge in the little things that dont go as deep in the sport of football.

Just my 2 cents

I wish the Phillies cared about looking like a bunch of pathetic losers against anyone except Milwaukee.

Even with Milton pitching this one is a stretch. I'm scared.
