Any thoughts on fading Atlanta on friday ( +180). They might have their minds off of baseball, with their city a target.

They don't need the win either, can't see them being focused, esp. with the lead they own.

Or the team bonds as disasters and shared threats in general tend to do when you are travelling, eating, living together.... makes them fight even harder.

Byrd had a nice start last game too.

Dottom: I see your side also, but feel the hurricane will be more of a distraction, than a rallying force for Braves. If the game meant more to ATL, I'd agree with you more.

With the long season, poor opponent, healthy lead, etc. My opinion is the effect will be more likely to lead Braves to disregard the game. It's an easy one for them to blow off, at least mentally.

Over seems indicated also, IMO.

I think Braves are easy money with an underrated Byrd vs. underacheiving Expos. Braves win 75% of the time in this spot?

dottom: We see this differently, that's OK. I'm not looking at pitcher's stats, I'm looking at the game from a psychological slant. It's just an angle on my end. It's strong enough for me to make a smallish play against, given the odds.

I'll say the odds of a 1 run game seem lower, than normal here. It depends on how Braves react to possible disastor.

Whatever occurs, I hope the least amount of people die in this storm, as is possible.

Best Luck,

Doug

Any way you look at this game, it's a tough spot to lay nearly -200 on Atlanta.

I say take the dog , or lay-off the game !
