Don't let Zona's offense scare you. These two pitchers will give up runs early and often.

It's currently 80 degrees (usually cooler by this time) and while temps always drop off around gametime by the bay, the fog layer is predicted to come in later and lighter tonight. With 18mph winds blowing out to center (the flags are blowing out), games have gone OVER 10-5.

And the x-factor should we need help, both these are playing bad defense to boot!

Wow! I had the under on this game, thinking that the pitchers have pitched well lately. I wish I would have read your post more carefully.

Congrats!

Anyone else fire at this puppy again today?

90 degree weather, 100 degress on the field... the ball is flying out of there... Lowry went out to pitch with 104 degree fever, both teams bullpens running on empty.

Sorry didn't post earlier, but I hope some of you jumped on the "Pac Bell Park in September" is not the typical Pac Bell park... (guess it's SBC now after the merger).

Great trend, Bottom.

How do you feel about the Giants getting to Johnson tomorrow? As strong a play as the first two, or no?

Royler,

I will post an hour before gametime after I check the weather and wind conditions. The answer is YES. The conditions this weekend are El Nino hot and the ball is flying off the bat. Did you see all the doubles today off the wall and on warning track? Not only does the ball travel farther, but also faster making it hard to run down all those doubles.

8 is a small number, despite Johnson and Tomko pitching well. Also, keep in mind both bullpens are completely blown. So you will always have 3+ innings where a 4 or 5-spot could be put up like that, just like today and yesterday.
