When the Phillies and Reds match up tonight there is a clear advantage to the Phillies. Corey Lidle is 2-0 with a 1.37 era in his last 3 starts with 2 complete game shutouts thrown in the mix. He will definetly be motivated when he faces his old mates tonight. The Reds will counter with Acevedo who has surrendered 28 home runs and has a 6.65 era as a starter, Acevedo is lights out when he pitches out of the bullpen but when he starts the fireworks will fly. We'll take Philly -165 for 2 units

Dero,

You're obviously a pro capper based on your post so would like to ask you regarding Lidle being "motivated" when facing old team.

How often does an opposing pitcher face his former team (and how many years ago is it relevant), and what are their SU and ATS records?

I've never found that stat useful and have always thought it was a subjective qualifer that has no value. But since you mentioned it and you're touting this "Bonus Play", wanted to get your objective opinion on the matter.
