would -130 moneyline be a bad bet on the giants with Barry sure to be in the lineup and all the excitement of the home run chase. Add in the fact that Kirk Rueter is 7-1 vs. the Brewers with an ERA of 1.78. ?

You can find it for -120 to -125 at some shops. Pound it!

Giants are in the thick of the race and you're getting pretty close to even vs. a team with a losing record at home! Brewers have lost L6 in a row at home. Reuter's is a much better pitcher than his stats have indicated.

Giants have all intentions of sweeping this series... (yeah, you can say that for any team, but we're talking penant race here).

Even if you say pitching matchup is even, venue is no advantage for Brewers losing L6 at home and Rueter dominance. So even if you call that even, then compare offenses and away/home record. Giants anything close to -120 is great value!

That ump didn't help either, giving inside corner (Davis' cutter) but not outside corner (everything Woody throws).

That's like making Woody pitch with one arm tied behind his back!!
