I look for Vandy to bark loudly this year as this is Bobby Johnson's second season as coach and players are getting a feel for his system. Excellent coach here.

I also look for Miss St. to be a lot better this season. With this said, right now I would lean to:

Vandy +
Miss St. +
Clemson +

I havent done much research but i love Clemson QB Whitehurst and he has some great targets in Youngblood, Currie and Hamilton. Their defense is suspect and they have had talent for years but never able to capitalize. Georgia is a better team, but as a home dog, clemson may be worthwhile. but its still to early to make a final judgment.

Thanks for the replies guys!!

I heard that this Georgia/Clemson game is HUGE for Clemson head coach Bowden. He's getting a lot of heat to win this game and Death Valley is in the top five hardest places to play, but it's early still and these factors will play into how the spread moves. I juse see the public taking Clemson which is bad because it LOOKS so good getting points. This might be a game just to watch??

I'd recommend staying away from Clemson. Their home field advantage has not been strong since the early nineties. Ranked teams generally come out of Death Valley with a victory. The only road favorite that seems to stuggle getting a cover at Clemson is FSU, and they are generally favored by a lot more than 3. Tigers were embarrassed against quality opponents at home last year (NC State and Maryland). Unfortunately, I don't see much improvement in the Tigers weakest ares from last year. Even with all of their problems, I still have to look at Georgia in this one.
