I have no lean in the NI/ MD game but MD offense is very banged up.

Bruce Perry there starting RB who is the star of there offense is questionable. Back up is Josh Allen, Soph. - Last year was a true freshman rushing for 405 yards and eight touchdowns last year. Don't know much about him.

McBrien there starting QB is probable. He strained his groin on Monday and missed practice yesterday/today. They are evauluating his status. Back up is Joel Statham is a Red shirt Freshman.

Steve Suter -There best kick returner who also starts at the slot is doubtful.

Most likely Perry and Suter will not play. This might make things dificult for the Terps.

olddiryhawk.. your right things should be difficult on the terps. Even with the above mentioned they had there hands full..

NIU +8 lets hope this baby climbs even more to to be extra safe. And hit it again before kickoff.

Josh Allen is better than Bruce Perry for MD. He's bigger, stronger and just as fast. McBrien is fine. The bigger injury is Lamar Bryant on the OL. He was All-ACC last year and will miss the first game or two. Md's defense will be loaded even with EJ gone. Their secondary is one of the tops in the nation. Their DL is very strong as well with Randy Starks a future superstar. NIU is going to be a very good team this year but MD will be too big and too fast for them. Suter is a great kick returner for MD but he can be replaced for a game. Maryland has the best coach in college football and he is reminding the team that they stunk up the joint in last years opener vs Notre Dame. It won't happen again. Md continues the momentum from crushing Tennessee in their bowl game last year and takes a 14-17 point win here.
