I cant believe everyone here is already calling OKlahoma lock of the year and put your house on it. No chance in hell to stay within double digits? Oklahoma by 19, Oklahoma by 13, etc, etc, etc. What does IU have to do to prove they belong? I admit I am a huge IU fan and go to school at IU, but I bet against IU when I feel the time is right and took Iowa to the bank in BIg10 Tourney, took Wisconsin outright during the season, took UK to the bank, took SIU, etc. I have only lost 1 side on an IU game this season and that was to Miami of Florida, so I am not a complete homer. IU is going to hang tough with thier D which is tougher than hell, ask Trevor Huffman, Williams, Dunleavy. My head says Oklahoma for the outright win, I'll give you that, but it won't be easy. For everyone, Why cant IU even stay on the floor with these guys, what makes it a blowout?

Oaklahoma SHUTS down offenses! Ask Kansas,Arizona, and any other team! They did not beat Kansas 3 weeks ago in the big 12 final, they destroyed them! Is Indiana better then Kansas? Dont think so.What makes this a BLOW-OUT, Indiana will have people GAURDING them when they shoot! Not like Kent st. when all the boys were open to shoot the 3's.Not in this game! The clamps are on from Oaklahoma on this game! Good-bye Indiana! /infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I said Ive bet against them all year, I just dont see a blowout man, both teams play tremendous D and that is why I think it will be close.

I am reserving judgement Matt. I want to know for sure how effective Coverdale can be and then I will be on the Hoosiers. If I find that he is not going to be ready, then OKL is a steal as Perry will be devoured if he has to go extended minutes, but I agree with you that many people here are DEAD WRONG to assume that this game is over before it starts.

Coverdale will play on Saturday. I go to IU and I can assure you he'll be as healthy on Saturday as he was against Duke. If he splits time with Perry thats fine because Perry's speed will be helpful in guarding Price. Don't forget Covey will have 6 full days of rest.

One more important thing...Jared Jeffries has been playing at about 75% in the tourney and the 6 days will also benefit him greatly. IU struggles with teams who attack off the dribble. IF OKLA. tries to go inside they'll get blocked by Newt or JJ, if they stay outside Fife will be on the best perimeter player. If IU can rebound they'll win the game.

If IU gets outrebounded and turns the ball over they will have to shoot 15 of 19 again to even have a shot.
