5 Units Wake Forest -3

The ACC meets Conference USA with two rebuilding teams who lost key low post players. Memphis (23-7 SU, 17-11 ATS last season) has a strong backcourt led by 6'-3" Jeremy Hunt (9.4 ppg last year), 6'-4" Anthony Rice and 6'-5" Billy Richmond (8.5 ppg). They all can shoot, and will have to be on because of a young frontcourt of Sean Banks and 6'-7" sophomore Rodney Carney. Coach John Calipari knows the value of tough defense and Memphis was a very good team away from home last year (8-3 SU, 7-3-1 ATS on the road). Wake Forest head coach Skip Prosser has an edge in the frontcourt with 6'-8" 232-lb, juniors Vytas Danelius (12.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg last season) and 6'-8" Jamaal Levy (7.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg) and 6'-9", 285-lb Eric Williams. Wake's guard play is average, so look for them to pound the ball down low in this game. Wake Forest was also very good away from home last season (7-4 SU, 7-4 ATS). Both teams lost their big scorer but Wake has more depth and frontcourt experience.

Good Luck Tonight My Friends
