I am new to football straight play wagering.
I have been betting the local four team parlay
cards thirty plus years. It is a losing bet.
I always thought the past 5 or so years If I bet the bookie straight up I'd win.The local
bookie was out for fear of the local Police.
Anyway the offshore thing happened and I'm in.I bet straight and two team parlays in the NFL now week four is in the books and I am showing an 80% return on my post up money.
Now it doesn't suprize me that I'm winning
but I never thought I'd win that much. Would you increase the amount per bet or keep the same
amount? There were some nice money line plays
that straight up payed half of a two teamer would pay.
Also when do you cash out? Is there a run on these books at seasons end? Do you take the balk two weeks before the end ?
Please no bashers just long time players insight Thanks for you time

definitely pull some money out at least whatever you invested if you have made as much as you say. take out a little at time. keep the bets the same amt though. its a long season.

Two schols of thought. After a 50% increase, keep the money in, adjust unit bet amount. Or after 50%, take profit out, keep original br in, keep unit bets the same. I've done both at different times w/ different accounts..

if after 4 weeks you are up 80%, then slow the fvck down. The best handicappers can't hold that pace in the long run. You hit a lucky streak, take your money and tone down your bet size. Like everything else in life, nothing is free. Take the money you've made and sit out a few weeks and see what happens.

If you are up 80% in four weeks you must be betting a large % of bank roll on each play or playing a ton of games, either way I would not increase you bet size. I am a firm believer in not changing you unit amounts for the entire season. That way if you are winning 53% you will make money. To many times I have seen people hit 55% of their bets and lose money by increasing wagers.

dog that is just what I was doing. Bet the hole bank roll for the four weeks on about six teams
average.Same money unit on all bets and half a unit on parlays.
drunk that sounds like some good advice I was thinking to my self I said "Self you aint that good"
But self replied "Yes we are we should Quit our day job"
chooch at a 100% which should happen sunday I'm
pulling 50% from one out.
mhk The other out I'll let it ride and increase
the unit 25% I only have two outs.
General I like how you think I was a drunk sailer in the PI for way too long
Drunkguy have you took a week off in foots? That and saratoga is all I bet.I'd get tight missing what I think is a good bet.
Thanks for the in put I needed it. My close friends don't gamble so there is no one else to bounce this sh!t off of in my real life
Just keep winning boys!
