Question--Please read

I was talking to a friend of mine and we got into a discussion regarding handicapping and gamblers in general. The following question came up and I wnat to know what you all think.

Would the gambling public buy sports picks from O.J. Simpson and L.Taylor if they opened a sports handicapping service or are their reputations such that no one would want anything to do with them. (especially O.J.) Let me know what you think.

would you buy winners from a best friend if they were hitting 45%????

I guess I would buy the picks from satan,,,,
winning doesnt know any friends,,, it just is,,, if you win,,, you will be successful,,,

i wouldnt buy a stick of gum from those clowns. being a former player in any sport doesnt qualify you as a handicapper in any sport. i give you jack reynolds whos on marc lawrences radio show friday nights,that clown gives his best bet every week and every week his pick gets hosed. they may be hall of famers but im a far better capper than those 2 or any other player could hope to be. guys right here kick ass every day. id buy from you before i listen to them.~6killer

Amen, six-kill. Those closest to the game are too close, and their insight is usually biased. Good players are good players; good cappers are good cappers. Never the twain shall meet.
