When you're more sure of a bet, do you put more money on it or do you buy points?

We had an earlier discussion in this forum about buying points, when it is to your advantage to do so. However, I haven't seen any discussion about the games you are more sure about.

If you are more sure of one bet than your normal bet do you put more money down or should you buy points to make the line better? For example, if I think Cincinnati is going to beat Arizona and the odds are -110 for Cincinnati, should I increase the amount of my bet or should I go for my normal bet amount and take the -1.5 RL at +157?
