Anybody have insight into the fights this weekend? I'm leaning towards the favorites (laying off Tyson). Anyone have any interesting information that might convince me otherwise?

I havent heard of any of the guys fighting on Friday night fights. The only thing Im thinking of doing is maybe playing Tyson now that its down to 4.5 to 1. I dont think Etienne wants to fight. I got a feeling he is just going to show up to pick up his check.

almy, i think you are right about Etienne not wanting to fight. At the press conference on thursday the reporters said Etienne did not look at tyson's side the whole time, which reminded them of Grant when he face Lewis. Grant got destroyed. On a separate story on ESPN, they said Etienne was force to fight by his wife. If he didnt bring home the million dollar purse, he wouldve had to sleep on the couch.

I will make a play on Tyson since he has shown determination for this fight, with exception to his tattoo.. so I doubt he will go crazy. Etienne has a glass jaw, so he'll have to box the best fight another has seen since one punch from Tyson and he will be dead. This will be another Peter McNeely fight with Etienne not lasting through 3 rounds.

Thats exactly why I made a play on Tyson at -500. Because of the comments made from his wife. It sounds like the broad is forcing him to fight when he really dosent want to. Which might translate into him just showing up to collect his mil and go home.

almly-i don`t really have a recommendation on this fight.....to many questions...but,i`m gonna play a few things for laughs(i mean like 20-25 dollars).....i was thinking under 4.5 rounds in the tyson fight with +375 on etienne(a little hedge)...mike probably wins,but what if that tattoo blows up?...that scares me some......also may put a little on jeff lacy under 6 rds....

i`m not putting these out to suggest anybody spend money on them...these are for my enjoyment....i`ll post plays in my own thread and let you know when i`m serious about plays...

i don`t want anybody to blow their money on something i`m not wagering seriously on...

side note-this has to be the first time in my memory that mike tyson is the second craziest human being on a mike tyson fight card....yep,tonya harding is much scarier....
