Tears +1/2 mill. over Cradle. Going with Tears.
Cradle is some mindless horseshit while Tears
might may draw some attention. I think this
one is a winner, unlike Dark Blue-David Gale.

WTF? I had to take Tears - 1 mill at Olympic. At -150 no less! It's now at -130. Who in their right mind would bet on Cradle to the Grave? Not that Tears looks a whole lot better, but the preview for Cradle makes it look like another pathetic wanna-be Matrix rip-off. My guess is Tears beats it by a couple of mil.

Me

This would qualify as a very small lean for me. Nothing even close to my posted picks. But I took Cradle +1M +120

Oren1,

Like I said, this is no sure thing. I am pretty sure Cradle will do over 18M and has the potential to do 20M or a little more.

Tears could do that or better. Too early to have any good tracking numbers for it. But on a fundamental level the biggest factor is I will bet against Bruce in a War/Africa/Action film fight now. I think 18M would be good for it, and with Bruce it could go lower.

Doesn't mean it won't do 25M, just don't think it is really likely.

My leans are nowhere near as sure as my picks.

All the best, lakerfan

I was thinking something like Cradle 15 or 16 million, and Tears maybe pulling in 18 mil or so. But those are really just numbers I pulled out of my ass, hahah.

I guess I am probably out of touch with what
younger folks will pay to see. I see previews
of this Cradle thing and I see so much garbage.
Surely others see sex, violence, and whatever.
Tears IS supposed to open in 400 more houses.
It should be close, but with the larger number
of venues, I am ok with it. But money has been
coming in on Cradle though. Well, I pulled the trigger, so I'll ride it out.

i have to say, this is a black-oriented movie aimed at the young black audience.....and i have to say, around baltimore, the brothers and sisters hit the theatres pretty hard....add to that the fact that laker has a lean....that`s all i needed....thanks l...i got there late and laid 1/2 mill....

Damn. I bought Tears at - 1 mil, I pulled the trigger early thinking that people would be on Tears. Little did I know that I could have gotten it at + 1/2 in a couple of days! ****.
