They are attacking Iraq because of the danger they posses to their neighbours (see map) yet none of these other countries other than kuwait are jumping on the US bomb Iraq bandwagen. Is Powell full of crap you betcha he is. They also like to claim France is against this attack for financial reasons because they do biz. with Iraq. Sure they do it amounts to less than 1% of there entire trade. They money they rake in on tourism from Americans is about 10 times this amount. They have now pissed off the Americans to the point where it will cost them more financial going this route. I would say it's pretty safe to say they are doing this because this is what they believe in. Not that they have a financial vested interest. They don't give you these facts and figures on CNN.
