Sure, Sadam would have to fully disarm etc. but he'd still have his pimp palaces etc.

Bush, can't win re election if doesn't bomb and win quick.

Yes, Bush certainly has miscalculated world response to this issue.

Guess he figured they could say whatever they wanted to rationalize his private war, and post 9/11, what country would 'dare' to challange or question whatever propaganda his team put forth.

With 250,000 troops in the region, Bush's meter is certainly running.

Looks like GW bet the farm here....

On one hand he has corporations and big business hungry for Iraq; on the other, a hesitant public and an almost hostile world arena.
Pissing off either group will guarantee no re-election...and thus W. follows in his father's footsteps. One term only.
