This is just getting stupid. GW's so-called advisors are morons. Who in the hell thought they would ever get a resolution like this anyways??? I will give this one credit to the French, at least they don't change their position every half hour.

The whole thing is becoming a charade. I have gotten to the point where I really don't care what they do anymore, all of them. Its become a petty game of who is the boss first and foremost. It doesn't even seem to be about Iraq or anything terrorist anymore. Its all about GW saying I have a right to do this and France saying you don't. Since the US clearly has the lead in that, well they will get their wish. Sad thing is that all the early speculation about France eventually joining in at the last minute looks quashed to me. The posturing just got out of hand on all sides and they should all blame themselves when a year from now and we are sitting around the table arguing over another country to play this game over. That is the problem here. I see good and bad about an invasion of Iraq, but I see nothing but bad about this whole charade that the world has to be a hostage to.

Next time George, if you just want to run over a country just do it. Don't ask for permission, don't let your people start insulting other countries calling them "old", don't let your spin doctors start making up silly evidence of sinister plots with terrorist organizations. JUST DO IT and stop ruining the world's economy with this song and dance. That is all that I think we need to say about this...

Uncertainty is paralyzing much of the world economy and setting up huge premiums for oil and gold, among other things. Everyone is waiting to act after the war ends, so the sooner it ends the better and the world can go back to being productive and stop wasting time and worry over the charade. As I say, just do it. Its not like anyone in the world pretends they can really stop GW from doing what he wants.
