Buddyboy has contacted the United States and Iraq with a peace proposal, Buddyboy's foreign minister told reporters Tuesday. He said he was awaiting a response.
The Foreign Minister was asked at a news conference whether Buddyboy had been in direct contact with the United States and Iraq in an effort to end the war, said: "We have made the proposal and we are waiting for a possible response."
He briefly described the proposal.
"All I have to say is if the US agrees to leave Iraq, and Saddam cuts his testicles off with a dull knife, live on the Al Jessiera television network, I think we'll have a deal soon." he said.
Buddyboy has quietly aided the U.S. war effort, even while anti-war and anti-U.S. sentiment simmers among World citizens. Buddyboy fears a backlash from extremists.
