US in Baghdad after 17 days

The US forces that swept into Baghdad today took just 17 days from the start of the war.

Operation Iraqi Freedom, the assault on Saddam Hussein`s regime, has picked up extra speed in the last few days with a final relentless two-pronged US advance on the capital....

Experts said it was one of the most impressive examples of war on the move ever seen, which would be studied for years to come.

Thanks for the posts Frank keep em commin.

While I'm here I have to tell you the funniest thing. I'm in South Korea working.Anyways, the korean television networks are covering the war on both sides, so they have alot of footage from Alzaheer T.V., and one of the Iraqi Generals(same guy everytime) holds open live press conferences. I don't know why but he speaks in english for the first part, and than whatever lang. they speak for the second part of the conference. He is so full of shit LMAO! He says "the americans approached us" at some location than he always says "and we crushed them" LMAO, always "crushing them", and they "ran away" LMAO, and "we have them right where we want them now", and guess what, yes "we will crush them" RFLMFAO! Than he starts stuttering when a reporter asks how many americans they have killed, looking like a dear caught in the headlights. It's so phawking funny can't wait for tonights broadcast LOL!
