For the life of me I am stumped by the phenomenon that is the Total Information Awareness Program. A massively-complicated, almost certain to fail plan to track everything everywhere in an attempt to enable a computer to guess who might be doing things which might lead to terrorism.

It's a leftie dream come true. Yet the lefties are almost universally opposed to it. It's an uber-Recht's worst nightmare of state control gone mad. Yet the URs seem almost universally in favour of it.

At any rate, it's coming. Have fun with it.

i don`t agree with it....but if you keep your nose clean, you should be fine....i understand that many perceive this as opening pandora`s box....i personally think that` s overstating things a bit.....the media, like it or not, will be on this like fur on a bear....lets see what happens before before we get hysterical.....

They're going to have a field day with the NRA and the gun control debate. Or will every freedom but the right to murder be revoked?

Total information Awareness has come under fierce scrutiny...

Can this last forever?
