Forgot one question:

Are the people opposed to the War doing so because they are politically motivated?

(they don't like Bush so they are against anything he does)

bush IS a scoundrel and a charlatan (using Godly wishes to justify war) but i don't think that many people would be willing to endure a rain of rubber bullets for him.

this post is a microcosm of the american thought process as it exists today....after 27 days, many morons in the media (and all over the world for that matter),expect the whole morass to be tied up in a neat little bow.....

that's only because Rumsfeld and ilk had been stating (read, bragging) that it would be a "cakewalk" and over in days...

But did anyone here really expect THAT to happen?

What FOOL said the war is OVER?

The major battles have subsided but the war is NOT over.

For all we know the Arab suicide squad is waiting around for the relief effort to kick in and gain momentum and then they will begin to terrorize the land with suicide bombings just when everyone thinks it's going great.

And for all we know that Tyrant Suddam could have the entire city of Baghdad Booby-Trapped with an underground plumbing system and when the time is right he will release Chemical/Bio-weapons into the air and KILL everyone.
----------------------------------
In my opinion I think Suddam could be hiding his Chemical weapons in an underground plumbing system and that is WHY it is so hard to find them.

Interesting theory. Seriously.

Can you expand on that?

I've already contacted CNN and they think it is interesting as well. Let see where it goes.
------------------------------------

It could be in a sealed system like they use for fire sprinklers.
***The valves could even be on a timer system...and when the power goes back on...they might open. maybe that's why the power was shut off MYSTERIOUSLY.

This is just something our military should consider.
I hope I'm wrong but it should be checked out.

Not at all.

They have been laying water lines for years underground in Baghdad.

Not to mention all those man made lakes around his palaces

So are you talking about a completely seperate "water" system, installed for just this use?

Or the normal domestic water lines, that I assume would have to be purged of all water, to facilitate better delivery of a chem/nerve gas ?

By the way, I felt that the Saddam regime turned of the power to Baghdad, so that his Info Minister could continue to tell his hilarious lies, with out the citizens being able to watch ( who just had to look out the window to see the real truth)
