Surprise, surprise.

All the more reason to split the country into to separate countries with republicans living on one side and the demis on the other. We'll see who has the better ideas, better economy, less crime, stronger military, more poverty.

The dems crossing the border to get into the republicans land will make the mexican-american border problem look meaningless.

I think the problem that needs to be adressed here is not the right of felons to vote, but that Pot-selling and bookmaking should not be felonies.

We could divide the land by the counties that voted for Gore versus the counties that voted for Bush and that would give the Bush voters well over 80% of the land!

Then we'll split the money down the middle. In a few years with the large government run democratic areas there will be only government based jobs to run the government. In a few more years you'll have another Iraq only with a democratic tyrant with all the power and the money. Socialism is socialism and communism is communism no matter where it exists.

The republican side will have fair taxes - enough to provide for a strong military to protect us from foriegners ( the dems in this case ). And it is just a matter of when, not if, the demi tyrant will resort to terrorism to attempt to scare the republicans. The dems get squashed by the republicans soon after and then then the democrat citizens will cry to be liberated.

Oh come on Joint, if you are going to divide the land by Bush-counties and Gore Counties, I think it is only fair to divide the money the same way.

I'm not sure how much of the wealth is held in Gore Counties, but I bet its at least 80%

We have the most socialist state in America, California on the brink of callapse and you socialist want more government programs and feel good. Isn't the failed socialist experiment in California enough for you to understand socialism is not practical.

Bullshit. You try and provide services to 80% of America (mind you the much less wired and serviced 80%) with MAYBE 20% of the money.

You'll find as Russia has that its hard to maintain a Military with no money.

Haven't run the numbers yet but remember - only 49% or so will be living in 80% of America. I'll take a conservative governement with less money to be far more produvtive than a socialist of communistic government with far more money to start anytime. You'll find a why to blow 80% of that 80% in no time.
