General - Agreed, they should be able to say whatever they want. However I should be able to choose to support them or not. And now I don't....and nobody I know supports them anymore.
If they want to use their fame for political reasons (just like Sarandon and Robbins) I don't have a problem with it. But when I choose not to support them anymore because of what they said I don't want to her the little bitches compaining about being blacklisted.

Dixie chicks smarter than Patriot, buddyboy and kman combined. The Dixies have made one honest statement and you boycott them. let me tell you about a band I did boycott. Billy Idol. I was a big fan till I went to a concert and he spit on us and told us we were all dumbasses for buying his records, he flipped off the crowd and walked off the stage after 1 or 2 songs.
was he right? was he wrong? was he telling the truth?
I didn't care.
I didn't like what he said and I didn't like his opinon so I didn't buy anymore albums.
If an artist pisses off the audience it will effect their pocketbook. and it doesn't matter how they piss them off.
