SLANDER and irresponsible "journalism"

Stings article on AllWorld slow paying is a pure lie. Any responsible journalist would have at least contacted us to try and verify the facts.

The only reason that I could think that Ken would allow this blatant lie to remain on his site is probably related to the fact that we chose not to advertise there anymore.

This type of slander is a serious crime in Costa Rica, punishable by two years in prison and a hefty fine, even if it is not published in a Costa Rican paper etc.

I sure hope to hear a retraction from The Prescription and Sting soon.

If the article is false and hurts your business, it may be considered Libel.

Slander is spoken defamation. This article is not Slander.

Actually, If sting can produce one case where the book made a slow/late pay, the article is NOT libelous.

So where is this alleged case? Just another example of the "good cop bad cop", Sting can write some crap and then Shrink can post it up and then sit back and act like the Defender of Free Speech for letting it stay and then turn around and say "Sting was on his own" like we can't see whose fingerprints are all over it. How many times have we been through this already?

I meant hypothetically. I don't know if he has a case or not. But US libel laws tend to favor the defendant.

Well, I guess its going to be VERY interesting to see a retraction from STING, and I KNOW he knows about this thread, THe credibility on this site has really gone down the tubes.
